Driving to the apartment

Directions to the Apartment:

Los Balcones is approximately 40 minutes drive by toll motorway from Malaga airport.

The apartment address is B5-1 Los Balcones, Los Arqueros

Having collected your cases, DO NOT leave the baggage hall; walk towards the Salida but BEFORE going through the doors go down the ramp to the right and into the car rentals office

If going by taxi, follow signs after leaving baggage hall

Once you have collected your car, go up the ramp and into the Malaga lane (N.340, E-15, A-7)

Take the Cadiz sign and then after a short distance, the E-15 toll road

Go towards Algeciras and stay on the E-15/AP7 (when road splits later – stay left)

Eventually you will come to a toll booth where you will pay about €5.70 and pick up signs for Estepona. Carry on until you see a sign on the right for “La Quinta” and go through a long tunnel

Just after this tunnel take a right turn to Ronda/San Pedro De Alcantara – A397 (Junction 172)

At the end of the slip road pay another toll of about €2.20

Go forward to the roundabout and take the last exit (i.e. come completely back on yourself, passing the slip road on your left (A397 – Ronda). Follow the Ronda  road up the hill (approx 2 miles). You will see Los Halcones commercial centre on the right, Los Almondros on the left then a big green and yellow sign on the right with “Ronda 44km”.  Immediately after that, turn left into Los Arqueros

Once on the development, there is a 4-5min drive to Los Balcones (follow the signs). Los Balcones is on the right. Drive between the gate-houses, up the hill and into the car park on the left. Our space is marked B5-1 and is in the top right corner (near satellite dish)

Walk back to the apartments, along the walkway to the right until you get to No 5 (big black number on the wall). Go down the steps and apt 1 is on the left. The key is a bit fiddly but ok once you have “the knack”
